There was such a test center in the city of Bern from April to the end of June. Over 300 tests were run on peak days. At that time it was the first large test center in Switzerland. There are currently no other comparable systems.

The canton is not doing it alone

"We have to relieve hospitals and emergency centers," says spokesman Gundekar Giebel. "The virus will be more active in winter at the latest, so the center should be set up soon." The canton of Bern is now organizing the development and cooperation with partner organizations.
