In order to enhance the understanding of the Greater Bay Area and Shenzhen among outstanding young people at home and abroad, promote the interaction and exchange of Chinese and foreign cultures, and demonstrate the image of Shenzhen as an inclusive and innovative city, Shenzhen People' s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship Foundation and Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation jointly launch a 10-day “Meet the World around”Shenzhen Summer Program.

A total of 20 students from more than 10 different countries and regions, including China, the United States, Russia, Serbia, Rwanda, Nigeria, Pakistan, Nepal, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand, participated in this program.

Time flies. Participants visited enterprises and historical attractions in Shenzhen, explored nature, and experienced culture, spending a fulfilling and meaningful period of time together.

Director of Shenzhen People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries affairs, Shenzhen Foreign Affairs Office Mr. Zhou Jianxiong, Fourth-level researcher of Manage Division for schools Run by Non-governmental Sectors, Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau Ms. Liu Jinying, Secretary General of Shenzhen Foundation for International Exchange and Cooperation Ms. Li Dan, and Deputy Secretary of Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship Foundation Ms. Lu Lin have attended the closing ceremony.

The guests listened to the participants' sharing. Some participants said that they had an in-depth understanding of the working environment and opportunities of Shenzhen enterprises through this program. At the same time, many expressed that they found a different and diversified Shenzhen in the 10-day program and they hope that they can share more stories about Shenzhen to the public.

At the end of the ceremony, the guests also presented certificates of participation to the participants.
