2022-12-01

In an attempt to better create Shenzhen’s international atmosphere, help Shenzhen’s foreign friends settle in Shenzhen and fall in love with the city, and further promote cultural communication and commercial interaction between China and other countries, a polish cultural event "The Polish Picnic" was held in Shenzhen on Nov. 13th.

The activity intended to spread polish traditional culture and customs to both domestic and foreign citizens living in Shenzhen, and to amplify citizens’ cultural life. Financially supported by SFIEC and many other Shenzhen companies and organizations, the event also received support from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Guangzhou.

Let’s take a look at some splendid moments~

Organizers provide participants with classic Polish snacks, enabling citizens from home and abroad to enjoy delicious food and meanwhile learn the traditional polish dance “Polonez”.

There were many children on spot and they experienced the traditional polish paper-cutting.

Participants from different nations and regions are able to make an acquaintance with residents in Shenzhen.

At dust, everyone is still in the mood for chatting and interacting and the event gradually approaches to end.

SFIEC has launched a series of brand events in the name of “Meet the World Around” for facilitating multicultural exchange and integration in Shenzhen. Since September 2022, we have successfully held several “Meet the World Around” Global Friendship Community events, bringing language learning, cultural appreciation, sports experience, and other fun activities to expats and domestic citizens in Shenzhen.

This time, “The Polish Picnic” is another innovative try of “ Meet the World Around” supported by SFIEC with the intention to encourage more and more domestic and foreign citizens to participate in co-constructing and co-sharing the internationalization outcome of Shenzhen by financially supporting international communicational events initiated by influential individuals.
